We’ll have three night stay in Varna, the third largest city in Bulgaria. In this way we’ll have enough time to visit the important sites in the area and in the same time visit the beaches.

Breakfast in the hotel and departure from Varna to Veliko Tarnovo – the old capital of Bulgaria. Veliko Tarnovo is often called the “City of the Kings”. The town is located on the Yantra River and is famous as the historical capital of the Second Bulgarian Empire. It’s unique architecture and history attracts millions of tourists from all over the world. Some of them are so captured by the magic of Veliko Tarnovo that they return again and again to feel its unique ancient atmosphere. After the tour we’ll end our amazing day with diner and night in Veliko Tarnovo.
Breakfast in the hotel and departure from Veliko Tarnovo to Kazanlak. On the way we’ll stop to visit Etara. The Etar Architectural-Ethnographic Complex is an open-air museum. The park features typical Bulgarian revival houses with two floors, bay windows, a clock tower, and a beautifully decorated house by Saakov featuring 21 windows. Using original instruments and following the old traditions, locals represent around 20 characteristics of the regional crafts such as wood-carving, pottery, coppersmith crafts, furriery, cutlery making, needlework etc. There are numerous shops for souvenirs and restaurants where you can enjoy the delicacies of the local Bulgarian cuisine. Visitors from all over the world are coming to see this Architectural-Ethnographic Complex and to observe the local traditional rituals. After our visit in Etara we’ll continue to Kazanlak. is the final stop on your tour today. We’ll end our extraordinary day with diner and night in the hotel. of northern Bulgaria, where you will take in the sights of the Museum of Roses and the Thracian tombs.
The ancient city of Plovdiv awaits on the next part of the tour. The city is renowned for its ancient Roman heritage, with the Roman Theatre, Roman Stadium and the Aqueduct popular haunts for sightseers. The City of Seven Hills is brimming with cultural significance with the St. Marina Church and the Ethnographic Museum also well-worth a visit before you retreat to your hotel.
We’ll have breakfast in the hotel and after that we’ll proceed our journey to Sofia. On the way we’ll stop and visit a must-see place not only in Bulgaria but in Europe – Rila Monastery. This historic spiritual center will take your breathe and leave you speechless for a couple of minutes. After our visit in Rila Monastery we’ll head back to Sofia where we’ll have diner and night in the hotel.
